The Best of Bath

I spent three days in Bath during the last week of September and had a wonderful time. There's so much to see there, it's impossible to do it in three days, let alone ten minutes, but nevertheless, here's a photo tour of what I saw.

You can pause the slideshow and just view them one at a time if you wish, and you can turn off the captions (since some of them are long) if you'd like by clicking on the green icon that looks like a square speech bubble.

I love the pictures! I would visit England if I could, too.

What a wonderful tour. Thanks! I remember clearly that there were no public drinking fountains (water) in England. I will never forget how three-year-old Ryan was SO thirsty after we landed at Heathrow and was crying for a drink. This is before we went through customs, so I was carrying four-month-old Sarah, hauling all my bags, exhausted from the long flight from SLC with the two babies, and looking for a drinking fountain. I finally asked a security guard where I could find a drink of water for Ryan. He led me to the employee lounge, took a glass from the counter and filled it with water from the sink. Ryan drank about three swallows and was done. I was too tired to get angry with him. We just walked wearily back to the lines to go through customs. Luckily, someone took pity on me and escorted me to the head of the line. I'm thankful for small blessings!
